We have had some very interesting things happening recently, most prominantly was the Cape Town mountain fires. These spread over the entire mountain rainge, causing devestation everywhere. Some of our guests even volunteered to help fight the fires, but had to admit defeat when all that could be done was let it burn itself out in most places. This was the story of many people who tried to help. Recently, a most bizzare thing happened in Fish Hoek. All the starfish washed up on the beach. The whole community came together to rescue the starfish, packing them in cooler boxes and then taking them by boat back out to sea. Divers were deployed to make sure that the starfish held their new ground and adapted ok. Incredibly these are just some of the things where the community of Cape Town gets together to help each other and the environemnt. Its the meanging of UBUNTU in our country - a quality that includes the essential human virtues of compassion and caring.
On another note, we are proud to be able to offer officail guided tours of Cape Town.
